We are looking for a motivated and experienced Letting Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the local property market, a passion for helping others, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. This position requires an individual who is able to work independently, build relationships with clients, and provide exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for listing properties, organising repairs, dealing with tenancy and landlord issues, answering emails and booking appointments. Various other property related work will also be required. Although experience is preferred, enthusiastic applicants with good admin and communication skills will also be considered. Previous experience of using property software would also be advantagious.
A full driving license and car is required.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, emails, property enquiries and repairs.
- Cover the office out of hours phone, evenings and weekends (rota)
- Prepared to attend training courses, in person and online.
- Work as part of a small team.
- Maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with regulations and changes.
- Be knowledgeable about the local area.
- Work on own iniative.
- Cover for holidays and sickness.
- Must be reliable.
