Restgarth Care Home is situated in picturesque Polperro. We are currently looking to recruit a kitchen assistant to assist with food preparation and completing general tasks including but not limited to:
- Responsible for Co-ordinating our Specialised Menu, preparing and serving the food
- Responsible for food preparation including salads and sandwiches
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area including all equipment and appliances
- Implementing the principles of safe food handling to ensure food preparation is undertaken to the highest possible standards of hygiene
- Practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks in particular moving and handling of loads
- Assisting with meal times.
- Tea Trolley throughout the day.
£10.42 per hour
